Supports Connection of Smart Card Readers
This KVM has a Common Access Card (CAC) console port to support smart card readers and biometric readers, including fingerprint readers. The CAC console port provides a secure, convenient way to control access to connected computers, since specific readers can be assigned and registered to the CAC port.
Discourages Physical Tampering with Housing Intrusion Detection
If someone opens the KVM housing, internal anti-tamper components disable the KVM, rendering it inoperable. The front-panel LEDs will flash to indicate the unit has been compromised. Tamper-evident seals on the housing provide visual evidence of tampering attempts.
