Control 2 Computers Plus Audio, Audio Switching and Quick Setup
The B004-DUA2-HR-K’s keyboard hot keys and front-mounted port selection buttons give you two convenient ways to select a computer. In Auto Scan mode, the B004-DUA2-HR-K automatically cycles between the ports at regular 5-second intervals, allowing you to monitor computer activity with no need to manually switch between computers.
The B004-DUA2-HR-K features independent audio switching so you can listen to audio from one computer as you switch to another connected computer. An additional set of console audio jacks located on the KVM’s front panel make it ideal for use with IP phones. The B004-DUA2-HR-K also supports 7.1 channel surround sound for an uninterrupted and immersive audio experience.
The B004-DUA2-HR-K is easy to configure with your system. Just connect your computers and audio components to the switch using the included USB KVM cable kits and audio cable kits, plug in the power adapter and you’re ready to go!
Sharing of USB Peripherals, Hot Plug Capability and Universal Compatability
Two USB 2.0 ports allow connected computers to share USB peripherals, like flash drives, printers and scanners.
The B004-DUA2-HR-K’s KVM ports are hot-pluggable, allowing you to add or remove computers without powering down either the KVM switch or computers. This handy feature enables you to swap out a computer without disrupting the overall system. The B004-DUA2-HR-K contains power-on-detection, which recognizes when a connected computer has been powered-off and automatically switches to the next powered-on computer.
The B004-DUA2-HR-K is compatible with all major operating systems and supports port switching functionality with a mouse’s clickable scroll wheel. The B004-DUA2-HR-K incorporates DVI-I technology that supports Dual Link digital resolutions up to 2560 x 1600 or analog resolutions up to 2048 x 1536 (analog connections require Tripp Lite’s P556-Series DVI to VGA adapter cables, sold separately). The KVM switch also stores the monitor’s EDID (Extended Display Identification Data) to optimize display resolution.
