The N820-12M has dual LC/LC connectors that are widely compatible and thoroughly tested to meet stringent insertion loss standards. The connectors are color coded and have beveled edges for a secure connection.
The N820-12M is manufactured using top-quality materials. It has 50/125 duplex (zipcord) fiber made from glass instead of a polymer, a low-smoke zero-halogen (LSZH) jacket and sturdy LC/LC connectors. The low-smoke zero-halogen jacket limits the amount of toxic smoke emitted in case of combustion and is perfect for poorly ventilated areas. The jacket is aqua to identify the N820-12M as a 10Gb cable.
