KH1508AI
Il KH1508i consente a un utente di controllare 8 computer - PC e/o Sun, nonché porte 'terminali' controllate via seriale. Quell'utente può essere locale o remoto, utilizzando una connessione IP integrata e condivisa. Attraverso l'architettura a cascata, possono essere utilizzati ulteriori switch non abilitati IP come il KH1508 o il KH1516 per espandere il numero di computer controllati; ASIC personalizzato (brevetto in sospeso) rileva automaticamente la posizione dello switch nella catena a cascata. L'uso di cavi Cat5 per i computer riduce il volume dei cavi e consente di posizionare i computer fino a 130 piedi dallo switch per una disposizione comoda.
