Compared to VRLA batteries, Lithium-Ion batteries have up to 3x life expectancy. The typical lifespan of a VRLA battery is 3 to 5 years, lithium-ion UPS batteries can last 8 to 10 years and in many cases outlast the UPS providing higher availability.
