Active Splitter Adapts PoE Power and Data for a Non-PoE Edge Network Device
Tripp Lite’s NPOE-SPL-G-5VMU splitter takes a signal from a Cat5e/6 PoE cable and separates it into power and data signals, which it delivers to a network device via Micro USB-B and RJ45 plugs, respectively. By eliminating the need for a separate AC power source, it adds more placement options for non-PoE devices.

- Add new equipment to an existing Cat5e/6 edge environment where AC outlets are unavailable, without needing a costly electrical upgrade

USB Micro-B Plug for Power
Power devices on the edge of your network, up to 328 ft. (100 m) from a PoE switch or 48V PoE injector, without requiring a costly electrical installation. The NPOE-SPL-G-5VMU delivers up to 5V 1A (5W) power to a device with a USB Micro-B port where AC outlets are limited or non-existent.
Ready to Use Right Out of the Package
With no software or drivers required, the NPOE-SPL-G-5VMU is completely plug and play. Simply connect a Cat5e/6 PoE cable to its RJ45 port, then connect the splitter’s RJ45 plug to your network device’s RJ45 port (data) and connect the splitter’s USB Micro-B plug to your network device’s USB Micro-B port (power).
