At 300 watts, the IS300HGDV can handle a variety of essential devices. Selectable 115V/230V input/output voltage with step-up, step-down or pass-through operation is also suitable for a wide range of devices and facilities. A 240-joule surge protection rating suppresses excess voltage to prevent it from damaging connected equipment (the unit automatically shuts down all outlets in case of overload). Equi-Potential Earth Connection
The IS300HGDV has both a potential equalization bolt (POAG) and an earth ground lug connector, which can be used for connecting to equi-potential earthing equipment terminals. The transformer can then be connected to other medical instruments. The POAG connection complies with the Medical Safety Standard EN 60601-1. Use the equi-potential earth screw to connect to any equipment that requires equi-potential earth connection and does not have a POAG connection.
