MTP/MPO Connectors with Pull Tabs for Easy Installation
The MTP/MPO connectors are almost identical in size to SC connectors, but can accommodate 12 times as many fibers, freeing up circuit card and rack space for other cables. The N844-02M-12-P has documented insertion loss and back reflection testing on every connector and attenuation loss that meets or exceeds current standards. Each connector has a pull tab to improve accessibility in high-density data center applications. The pull tabs make it easy to install and remove cables with one hand without the need for additional tools.

The N844-02M-12-P is manufactured using top-quality materials. It has 50/125 duplex (zipcord) fiber made from glass instead of a polymer, a plenum-rated (CMP) jacket, and sturdy MTP/MPO connectors. The plenum-rated jacket makes this cable perfect for connecting high-speed network components in areas that require plenum-rated (CMP) cabling, such as ceilings, walls and ducts. The jacket is aqua to identify the N844-02M-12-P as a 10Gb cable.
