With a female MTP/MPO connector on one end and eight LC duplex male connectors on the other, this 8.3/125-rated three-meter cable eliminates the need for splicing. It supports 40/100 Gb Ethernet speeds and is optimized for QSFP+ 40GBASE-PLR4 and QSFP28 100GBASE-PSM4 networks. It also features a plenum-rated jacket, so it’s perfect for connecting high-speed network components through ceilings, walls and ducts.
Frees Up Space in Your Network EnvironmentThe N390-03M-8LC-AP’s slim, space-saving design occupies minimal space in your installation. Its 12-fiber MTP/MPO connector is almost identical in size to an SC connector but is 12 times denser, freeing up circuit card and rack space for other cables. Its APC connector is also angled, preventing infrared light that enters the fiber from bouncing back into the laser. To fully transmit 40GBASE-PLR4 signals, this cable uses eight fibers, with four transmitting at 10 Gbps in each direction. Its LC UPC connectors feature a premium-grade ceramic ferrule designed for fast applications of 10 GbE and higher.
