O APC by Schneider Electric Switched Rack Power Distribution Unit (PDU) distribui energia para dispositivos no rack. Possui um sensor que mede a corrente que ele e seus dispositivos conectados usam. Pode ser monitorado através de interfaces Web, Telnet, SNMP, SSH ou StruxureWare Data Center Expert®.
Entrada: O Rack PDU possui uma entrada IEC-320-C14 na parte frontal da unidade para conectar ao cabo de energia.
Tomadas: As tomadas conectam o Rack PDU aos equipamentos em seu rack ou gabinete. Cada tomada permite o controle independente do equipamento conectado e o firmware do Rack PDU também fornece contas de usuário para as tomadas. O Rack PDU possui oito tomadas IEC-320-C13.
Display digital: Um display digital mostra a corrente total sendo utilizada.
