Os Cabos de Condicionamento de Modo da Tripp Lite são projetados para uso em aplicações Gigabit Ethernet 1000BASE-LX. Eles estão totalmente em conformidade com os padrões de aplicação IEEE 802.3z. Cabos de Condicionamento de Modo são necessários em aplicações onde novos roteadores e switches Gigabit 1000BASE-LX de alta velocidade estão sendo implantados em instalações multimodo existentes. A necessidade deste cabo de remendo deve-se à natureza de lançamento de modo único dos módulos transceptores -LX ou de onda longa (1300 nm) usados para Ethernet Gigabit.
