The U328-025 25-ft. USB 3.0 Active Extension Cable ensures maximum performance from USB 3.0 devices over distances of up to 25 feet. Its USB A male and USB B male connectors are backward compatible with all USB 2.0 devices and older. With plug-and-play convenience, it is simple to set up, and with hot-swap capability you can easily switch between connected devices without powering down your computer. Unlike cut-price cables, the U328-025 is manufactured to exacting specifications with superior materials to deliver full 5 Gbps speed along the entire length of the cable so multimedia and other high-end applications continue to perform at their peak.

Bus-Powered Signal Booster, High-Speed Data Transfer and USB 3.0-Compliance
The U328-025 features a bus-powered signal booster (no external power source required) in the middle of the cable that extends the range of the USB signal, allowing you to overcome the typical 16-foot limitation. This allows USB peripheral devices, such as printers, scanners and card readers, to be located up to 25 feet from the host computer with no loss in signal quality. The U328-025 also provides 250mA of power to a connected device. If a device requires more than 250mA of power, it will either need to have its own power supply or be plugged into a powered USB 3.0 hub (Tripp Lite model U360-004-R, sold separately).
The U328-025 is USB 3.0-compliant with blazingly fast transfer speeds up to 5 Gbps. The U328-025 is also backward-compatible with the USB 2.0 standard and older.
