Although they are the same size, the 12-fiber MTP/MPO connectors are 12 times denser than SC connectors, which leaves more room in racks and circuit cards for other cables. Push/pull tab connectors make the cable easy to install and remove with one hand, which is an advantage in tightly packed patch panels and switches. The N845-01M-12-MG is 100% tested for low insertion loss and back reflection on every connector and attenuation loss that meets or exceeds current standards.
