Expand multiple connectivity ports to your Thunderbolt 3/DP Alt Mode* USB-C enabled Mac or Windows PC to increase your efficiency and allows data transfer speeds up to 40Gbps and daisy-chain up to 6 Thunderbolt devices
* When connecting to a DP Alt mode USB-C host port the resolution will be 4K@30Hz for single DisplayPort monitor or 1080p for two DisplayPort monitors
* Compatibility Notes:
- The thunderbolt 3 has the same design as the USB-C port. Thunderbolt 3 has the capabilities of USB-C, but USB-C does not have the capabilities of Thunderbolt 3
- The Docking's Thunderbolt 3 output does not work when connecting to non-Thunderbolt 3 USB-C port
- The USB Type-C connector with DisplayPort technology via an Alternative Mode (Alt mode) and allows a USB-C equipped computer and cable to connect directly to a display/monitor
