Tripp Lite by Eaton's PDU1215 Single-Phase Basic Power Distribution Unit (PDU) is a dependable, space-saving, cost-effective way to deliver 120V power to multiple loads from a UPS system, generator or utility wall outlet in high-density IT environments. With 13 NEMA 5-15R outlets (1 front, 12 rear), a rugged all-metal housing and a switchless design to prevent accidental shutoff, the PDU1215 is the perfect no-frills power distribution unit for networking, PC systems, telecommunications, audio/video, security, sound reinforcement, and other similar applications. The PDU1215 includes hardware for 1U rackmount installation. Other mounting configurations like vertical 0U rackmount (with compatible racks and PDUSIDEBRKT accessory, sold separately) are also possible, as well as wall-mount, workbench and under-counter installations. For peace of mind the PDU1215 comes with a 5-year warranty and a RoHS-compliant design.
Reliable Power Distribution Optimized for Demanding Applications
A multi-outlet PDU is the ideal means of powering multiple loads in 19-inch rackmount, wallmount, and under-counter applications, such as internetworking, PC systems, telecom, A/V, security, sound reinforcement, and more. The 13-outlet PDU1215 is a perfect for distributing alternate waveform UPS, generator, or commercially-derived AC power to protected equipment.
Power Previously Un-Powered Areas with Long Cord
Install the PDU1215 far away from its power source and distribute power to previously un-powered areas with the long, 15-ft. power cord and 5-15P plug. The PDU1215 can be mounted in a different area or room from where it draws AC power, putting users in control of supplying reliable power service where it is needed most.
Versatile Installation Options
The PDU1215 is easy to integrate with a wide range of network, industrial and other applications. Detachable flanges with pre-punched access holes and adjustable depth channels allow the PDU1215 to be configured for dozens of mounting schemes, including 1U installation in standard 19-inch rack enclosures as well as wall-mount, workbench, under-counter and similar installations. The PDU1215 is also suitable for 0U vertical installation in the cable management area of many rack enclosures Tripp Lite’s PDUSIDEBRKT accessory, sold separately.
