Tripp Lite’s B140-002 DVI over Cat5 Extender allows you to split a single DVI signal and extend it to two monitors up to 200 ft. away using inexpensive Cat5/6 cabling (Tripp Lite B140-Series active or passive remote units required, sold separately). The B140-002 is ideal for digital signage applications in schools, churches, retail, point-of-sale displays, trade show presentations, business conference rooms and any other venue that requires sending video to more than one DVI-enabled digital video component over a long distance. With no software or drivers to install, the B140-002 provides total plug-and-play convenience. For peace of mind, the B140-002 comes backed by a one-year warranty and is TAA-compliant for GSA Schedule purchases.
Extend a DVI Signal up to 200 ft. Away
This Tripp Lite 2-Port DVI over Cat5/6 extender/splitter allows extension of a DVI signal beyond the 15 ft. distance limitation. The B140-002 can extend a 1024 x 768 (60Hz) resolution up to 200 ft. and a 1920 x 1080 (60Hz) resolution up to 150 ft. when used with an active remote unit (Tripp Lite B140-1A0 or B140-1A0-WP). When used with a passive remote unit (Tripp Lite B140-1P0 or B140-1P0-WP-1), it can extend a 1024 x 768 (60Hz) resolution up to 100 ft. and a 1920 x 1080 (60Hz) resolution up to 50 ft. For maximum distance performance, always use 24 AWG Solid Wire Cat5e/6 cable (Tripp Lite N202-series).

With no software or drivers to install, the B140-002’s plug-and-play setup gets your application up and running faster. Simply connect the unit to the video source and remote receiver, connect the remote receiver to the display and enjoy crystal clear resolution. The B140-002 is compatible with all DVI video sources and all computer operating systems.
