The B051-000 IP Access Device adds IP functionality to a KVM switch or server that is not equipped with built-in IP capabilities and allows users full, BIOS-level control of a server or KVM switch via LAN, WAN or Internet. With features like SNMP protocol, RADIUS support and virtual media capability, you’ll never miss a network event or alarm, no matter how far from your equipment you are. This makes the B051-000 the ideal solution for high-density IT applications like data centers, server rooms and network closets. Industry-standard 128-bit SSL encryption protects your data, while a three-year warranty protects your hardware.
Complete Network Control, Premium Security and Vibrant Display Options
The unit features LAN, WAN and Internet access capabilities, plus an SNMP protocol for monitoring alarms and events that occur to equipment or on the network. Up to 64 user accounts can be programmed, with 32 concurrent logins allowed for team access. A serial port allows for remote control of serial devices. When used with power management devices, the B051-000 can remotely reboot or power cycle devices from any location. The B051-000 also contains a virtual media feature that allows the B051-000 to remotely access data on a USB or flash drive as if that drive was plugged into the user’s computer, as well as a message board feature that lets users communicate with each other and gives a user exclusive control of the KVM switch.
The B051-000 supports RADIUS, LDAP, LDAPS and MS Active Directory security protocols along with TCP/IP, HTTP, HTTPS, UDP, DHCP, SSL, ARP, DNS, ICMP, CHAP, PPP, 10Base-T and 100Base-T. Its low bandwidth requirements also allow the B051-000 to use an analog 56k modem when other networks are unavailable. For added security, 1024 bit RSA, 56 bit DES, 256 bit AED, and 128 bit SSL advanced security encryptions are used to prevent any breaches.
With a maximum resolution of 1600 x 1200 (60Hz) and 24-bit color depth support for remote sessions, the B051-000 provides premium display quality, meaning users will never miss a detail, even when physically separated hundreds or thousands of miles away from their network. The remote session can be viewed in full-screen or an adjustable window mode for multitasking and higher productivity.
