Get higher port density out of your network connections with Tripp Lite’s 1-meter N844-01M-8LC-PT MTP to 8 x LC Fan-out Cable. The N844-01M-8LC-PT reduces your cabling footprint and saves considerable amounts of time and money by consolidating eight LC network connections into a single MTP/MPO connector.
The N844-01M-8LC-PT uses an MTP/MPO connector that is approximately the same size as an LC connector, but accommodates 8x the density, offering you savings in circuit card and rack space.
The eight widely-compatible LC connectors are thoroughly tested to ensure they meet Tripp Lite’s stringent insertion loss standards. The N844-01M-8LC-PT is OM3-rated, designed for 40Gb Ethernet networks and is also backward compatible with existing 50/125 fiber.
Ideal for Modular Fiber Cassettes and Enclosure Panels
The N844-01M-8LC-PT works with Tripp Lite’s N482-Series MTP and LC Fiber Cassettes and 1U and 2U Fiber Enclosure Panels (sold separately). When used together, Tripp Lite’s modular, high-density fiber solutions offer the highest level of scalability and density, leaving more space for mission-critical equipment such as switches, routers, servers and storage.
Typical Applications
High density network applications as specified in the Data Center Cabling Standard TIA 942 for cross connects in main distribution, horizontal distribution, and equipment distribution areas.
Used with 40GBASE-SR4 networking hardware.
