PDUMNH30
Tripp Lite's PDUMNH30 distributes and monitors single-phase 120V power to connected rack equipment in data centers, network closets, server rooms, computer rooms and other applications requiring network-grade power. Its built-in network interface allows real-time remote monitoring of voltage, frequency and load levels to prevent overloads that cause expensive downtime. It features 16 NEMA 5-15/20R outlets and a 10-foot (3-meter) power cord with NEMA L5-30P plug, which connects the PDU to a compatible AC power source, generator or protected UPS system.
Built-In LX Platform Network Management Interface Card
The built-in Java-free HTML5-based LX Platform network interface enables full remote access for PDU status monitoring and email notifications via secure web browser, SNMP, telnet or SSH. It supports 10/100 Mbps auto-sensing for optimum communication with an Ethernet network. Optional EnviroSense2 modules (sold separately) provide a variety of environmental monitoring capabilities, including temperature and humidity conditions. Protocols supported include IPv4, IPv6, HTTP, HTTPS, SMTP, SNMPv1, SNMPv2, SNMPv3, telnet, SSH, FTP, DHCP and NTP. DHCP/Manual configuration lets you assign network settings to the card automatically, reducing the need for manual configuration. Automated alerts help prevent accidental overloads, power loss and downtime.
Digital Load Meter
The easy-to-read two-character digital LED meter displays output load levels in three segments: breakered bank 1, breakered bank 2 and total PDU output. Monitoring the individual breakered load banks helps ensure proper balance across the two output load banks. Monitoring total PDU output helps prevent PDU and supply circuit overloads that cause downtime.
Optimized for Demanding Applications
The all-metal housing is designed to endure in busy, demanding IT and industrial environments. The included cord retention brackets for the outlets help prevent connected equipment from becoming accidentally disconnected. Real-time clock backup maintains the time of day and date, even if the PDU is shut down and unpowered.
Versatile Installation Options
This server rack PDU features a 2U horizontal rack-mount form factor. Mounting flanges support installation in 2- and 4-post racks, with additional support for wall-mount and under-counter installation. Mounting ears are reversible for front- or rear-facing rack-mount installation.
TAA-Compliant for GSA Schedule Purchases
The PDUMNH30 monitored power distribution unit is compliant with the Federal Trade Agreements Act (TAA) for GSA Schedule purchases.
2-Year Warranty and Environmentally Responsible Design
This monitored PDU comes with a 2-year limited warranty. It's manufactured in compliance with strict RoHS specifications, reflecting Tripp Lite's commitment to environmental responsibility.
2U PDU Distributes and Monitors Single-Phase Power with No Java Required
Tripp Lite's PDUMNH30 2.9kW Single-Phase Monitored PDU is an efficient, cost-effective, next-generation power distribution solution with remote monitoring capabilities. It’s perfect for small data centers, server rooms, network closets, computer rooms and any environment in need of network-grade power. Its 16 NEMA 5-15/20R outlets (arranged in two separately breakered 20A banks) can be monitored both remotely and with the unit’s ammeter. Designed for users who prefer a Java-free interface, this advanced 2U rack PDU distributes 120V single-phase output and is recommended for any IT or industrial application. Its 10 ft. cord with locking L5-30P plug connects to a compatible power source, generator or UPS.
Product Specifications
HTML5-Based Interface Provides Advanced Network Monitoring Capabilities
Featuring a built-in, Java-free, HTML5-based LX Platform interface (the mobile-friendly PowerAlert Device Manager), the PDUMNH30 provides complete remote access for power monitoring and email notifications via a secure network or Web browser. Automated alerts help prevent accidental overloads, power loss and downtime. When used with an optional EnviroSense2 environmental sensor (sold separately), it can also perform temperature/humidity and dry contact monitoring, providing IT personnel with enhanced oversight of facility power and environmental conditions. As an added bonus, up to three EnviroSense2 modules can be daisy-chained together. The PDUMNH30 supports 10/100 Mbps auto-sensing for optimum communication with an Ethernet network. Automated alerts can be configured to warn against potential overload, power loss and downtime.
Gives IT Personnel Enhanced Oversight of Network Power Conditions
The easy-to-read two-character LCD load meter displays the total connected equipment load, as well as the loads carried by both banks, so you can assure proper load balancing. By monitoring the total load in real time, you allow equipment to be safely connected with no danger of overloading the PDUMH30NET or power supply circuits.
Control Individual Outlets from Anywhere 24/7
For a higher level of network power control, the 16 NEMA 5-15/20R outlets can be individually controlled in real time. These controllable outlets enable power management tasks, including load shedding, load ramping, programming power-on and power-off sequences, and rebooting of locked-up network devices, to be performed remotely. By reducing the frequency of on-site visits, these advanced remote capabilities can save you money and reduce downtime. Unused outlets can be disabled to prevent the connection of unauthorized equipment loads. Each outlet has an LED that illuminates to confirm power on/off status.
