PDUMNH20HVAT
Dual 10-foot input cords with L6-20P plugs connect to separate primary and secondary single-phase power sources. The PDU constantly evaluates the power quality of both input sources. Dynamic solid-state (TRIAC) automatic transfer switching allows the PDU to switch to the secondary source within 1-5 milliseconds should the primary source fail or become unstable to ensure your connected equipment operates without interruption.
The built-in Java-free HTML5-based LX Platform network interface enables full remote access for PDU status monitoring and email notifications via secure web browser, SNMP, telnet or SSH. It supports 10/100 Mbps auto-sensing for optimum communication with an Ethernet network. Optional EnviroSense2 modules (sold separately) provide a variety of environmental monitoring capabilities, including temperature and humidity conditions. Protocols supported include IPv4, IPv6, HTTP, HTTPS, SMTP, SNMPv1, SNMPv2, SNMPv3, telnet, SSH, FTP, DHCP and NTP. DHCP/Manual configuration lets you assign network settings to the card automatically, reducing the need for manual configuration. Automated alerts help prevent accidental overloads, power loss and downtime.
ATS PDU Distributes and Monitors Single-Phase Power with No Java Required
Featuring a built-in network interface and an auto transfer switch, Tripp Lite's PDUMNH20HVAT 3.3/3.8kW Single-Phase Monitored ATS PDU provides full remote power monitoring and a redundant power option for network devices with non-redundant power supply configurations. Dual inputs allow connection to separate primary and secondary power sources for solid-state automatic transfer switching to keep equipment running without interruption. Connect its L6-20R receptacle to a single device or a vertical 20A 208/240V PDU (sold separately) to power additional outlets.
Key Features
Dual PDU Inputs Provide Power Redundancy for Network Devices
The PDUMNH20HVAT has two 10 ft. input cords with L6-20P plugs to support connection to separate primary and secondary single-phase power sources, such as separate mains circuits, backup generators and even separate utility power grid feeds. The two power sources provide power redundancy for network devices with non-redundant power supply configurations. The dual power sources enable fault-tolerant, hot-swappable UPS protection when used with a single UPS and fully redundant UPS protection when each cord is connected to a separate UPS system (primary UPS should produce a sine wave with zero transfer time). The PDUMNH20HVAT has a rugged all-metal housing and provides selectable 208/240V output. Maximum input current is 20A.
Auto Transfer Switch (ATS) Provides Reliable, Continuous Output
Dynamic solid-state (TRIAC) automatic transfer switching is supported by any two compatible AC power sources. The PDUMNH20HVAT supplies continuous output to its L6-20R receptacle from the primary power source. If the primary source fails or becomes unstable, the ATS switches to the secondary power source until the primary source is restored. An on-board ATS processor constantly evaluates power quality on both input sources to prevent transfer to the secondary source when it’s unavailable or of lower quality than the primary source. The transfer between power sources happens in 1 to 5 milliseconds, ensuring uninterrupted operation of connected equipment.
HTML5-Based Interface Provides Advanced Network Monitoring Capabilities
With a built-in Java-free, HTML5-based LX Platform interface (the mobile-friendly PowerAlert Device Manager), the PDUMNH20HVAT provides complete remote access for power monitoring and email notifications via a secure network or Web browser. When used with an optional EnviroSense2 environmental sensor (sold separately), it can also perform temperature/humidity and dry contact monitoring, providing IT personnel with enhanced oversight of facility power and environmental conditions. As an added bonus, up to three EnviroSense2 modules can be daisy-chained together. The PDUMNH20HVAT supports 10/100 Mbps auto-sensing for optimum communication with an Ethernet network. Automated alerts can be configured to warn against potential overload, power loss and downtime.
Supports Real-Time Load and Power Status Monitoring
The PDUMNH20HVAT is equipped with a digital ammeter that allows you to monitor the PDU’s total load in real time. This meter helps ensure the PDU is used below maximum capacity with no danger of overload.
Reduces the Cost of Data Center Maintenance
Remote monitoring capabilities lower the PDUMNH20HVAT’s total cost of ownership by reducing the frequency of on-site visits.
Integrates Easily Into Your Existing Infrastructure
The PDUMNH20HVAT mounts horizontally in any EIA-standard 19 in. rack. It occupies just 1U of space. For extra support, add the optional PDU4PKIT Rear Support Rail Kit.
