The SRTH6UB attaches to the top of your already existing SmartRack floor-standing rack, allowing you to expand vertically without taking up any additional floor space. Hardware for assembly and mounting is included.

Adding a vertical extension to your existing rack is a practical alternative to expensive upgrades. By adding 6U to the top of your enclosure, you save the time, hassle and expense of purchasing and installing a new larger rack and moving all the equipment.

The SRTH6UB is compatible with standard-depth Tripp Lite floor-standing racks (600 millimeters wide, 1050 millimeters deep) with a removable roof panel. Extensions require assembly on top of the rack, allowing the installation of one component at a time. Multiple grounding points are included on the extensions. Note: You do not have to remove the roof panel of the original rack to install the top hat.
