Tripp Lite's Medical-Grade Mobile Power Retrofit Kit provides UL 60601-1 compliance (a required patient shock-prevention measure) for all connected mobile electronic devices. The Mobile Power Retrofit Kit includes everything needed to add AC power to medical carts. The kit's power supply features an isolation transformer that reduces the cumulative shock potential of connected equipment, helping to ensure UL 60601-1 compliance. The included 36 amp-hour battery module provides long-lasting mobile power. Included PowerAlert Software saves valuable patient data from loss or corruption if the cart is left unattended and battery power is depleted. The Mobile Power Retrofit Kit also includes a remote user interface (RUI), mounting hardware and standard cabling.
UL 60601-1 Compliance for Use Inside and Outside Patient Care Areas
Full UL 60601-1 compliance is required for all connected mobile electronic devices in healthcare environments. Featuring an isolation transformer that reduces the cumulative shock potential of connected equipment, the HCRK-36’s 60601-1 compliant design allows mobile AC power to be supplied to mobile medical applications used in every sector of healthcare facilities—both inside and outside patient-care areas.
With three 5-15R outlets, the HCRK-36 is able to reliably and safely supply power to multiple components, eliminating the need for additional wall power sources. For enhanced plug-in versatility, the HCRK-36’s 10 ft. coiled power cord with integrated, molded NEMA 5-15P-HG hospital-grade plug ensures a reliable connection at all times.
Remote User Interface, PowerAlert Software and Product Warranties
A Remote User Interface (RUI) displays output and battery charge status at a glance and can be mounted anywhere on a cart.
The HCRK-36 contains a USB communication port (USB cable included). When used with the included PowerAlert Software, this USB port automatically saves valuable patient data from loss or corruption if the cart is left unattended and battery power is depleted.
The HCRK-36 comes with a two-year warranty for the power module and six-month warranty for the battery unit. As part of Tripp Lite’s commitment to environmental responsibility, the HCRK-36 is manufactured in compliance with strict RoHS specifications.
