Tripp Lite Metered ATS / Auto Transfer Switch provides a redundant power option for single-corded network devices. Dual input cords support separate connection to PRIMARY and SECONDARY power sources. The ATS will normally maintain continuous output to all outlets as derived from the primary input cable. If the primary power source becomes unstable or fails altogether, the ATS will switch over to the secondary power source until the primary input is restored and stable. Super-fast switchover between primary and secondary power sources occurs within milliseconds. ATS functionality is supported by any two compatible AC power sources, regardless of phase angle, to support a variety of advanced redundant power networking applications. Enables fault tolerant hot-swappable UPS protection when used with a single UPS and fully redundant UPS protection when each cord is connected to a separate UPS system. In a two-UPS environment, the primary input cable must be supported by a full time sine wave UPS with zero transfer time. Tripp Lite SmartOnline series is highly recommended for use as the primary UPS in a two-UPS application. ATS configurations utilizing separate mains circuits, backup generators and even separate utility power grid feeds are fully supported. On-board ATS processor constantly evaluates power quality on both input sources to prevent transfer to the secondary source when unavailable or of lower quality than the primary source. Efficient Single-Phase Monitored Power Distribution with Auto Transfer Switch (ATS)
Featuring a built-in network interface and an auto transfer switch, Tripp Lite's PDUMNH20HVAT 3.3/3.8kW Single-Phase Monitored ATS Power Distribution Unit (PDU) provides full remote power monitoring and a redundant power option for network devices with non-redundant power supply configurations. Dual inputs allow connection to separate primary and secondary power sources for solid-state automatic transfer switching when required to keep equipment running without interruption. Connect the L6-20R output to a single device, or connect to a vertical 20A 208/240V PDU (sold separately) to power additional outlets.
Dual PDU Inputs for Power RedundancyThe PDUMNH20HVAT has two 10 ft. input cords with L6-20P plugs to support connection to separate primary and secondary single-phase power sources, such as separate mains circuits, backup generators and even separate utility power grid feeds. The two power sources provide power redundancy for network devices with non-redundant power supply configurations. The dual power sources enable fault-tolerant, hot-swappable UPS protection when used with a single UPS and fully redundant UPS protection when each cord is connected to a separate UPS system (primary UPS should produce a sine wave with zero transfer time). The PDUMNH20HVAT has a rugged all-metal housing and provides selectable 208/240V output. Maximum input current is 20A. |

The PDUMNH20HVAT supplies continuous output to its L6-20R output from the primary power source. If the primary source fails or becomes unstable, the ATS switches to the secondary power source until the primary source is restored. An on-board ATS processor constantly evaluates power quality on both input sources to prevent transfer to the secondary source when it’s unavailable or of lower quality than the primary source. The transfer between power sources happens in 1 to 5 milliseconds, ensuring uninterrupted operation of connected equipment. |

Advanced Network Monitoring Capabilities
A built-in network interface enables full remote access for power monitoring, configuration and control via a secure network or web browser interface. Tiered access privileges allow both an administrator and a guest to log in and monitor the PDU via a web browser. This PDU supports notification of all major power events and user-specified alarm thresholds via email or SNMP traps. Real-time clock backup maintains the time of day and date even if the PDU is shut down and unpowered. When used with an optional ENVIROSENSE environmental sensor module, the PDUMNH20HVAT can also remotely monitor temperature/humidity conditions.
Broad Compatibility
The PDUMNH20HVAT provides 10/100 Mbps auto-sensing for optimal communication compatibility with a current 10/100 Base-T network. Protocols supported include HTTP, HTTPS, PowerAlert Network Management System, SMTP, SNMPv1, SNMPv2, SNMPv3, Telnet, SSH, FTP, DHCP, BOOTP and NTP. DHCP/Manual configuration support provides the ability to have network settings automatically assigned to the card or manually assigned via permanent IP addresses.
Digital Meter and Source Status LEDs for Real-Time Monitoring
The digital meter allows IT personnel to monitor in real time (either locally or remotely) values such as amperage, kilowatts, voltage, frequency and power factor. It helps ensure that the PDU is used at maximum capacity without danger of overload. The meter can also show the IP address. LEDs indicate which source is preferred, which source is available for use and which source is currently being used.
