Tripp Lite's B070-016-19-IP2 NetCommander® 16-Port Cat5 1U Rack-Mount Console KVM Switch includes a full keyboard, 19-inch LCD screen and touchpad in a 1U rack-mount console. It connects up to 16 computers and/or servers and allows you to control them locally or remotely via LAN, WAN or web browser.Connect computers/servers up to 100 feet away using Cat5e/6 cabling and a compatible Tripp Lite B078-Series server interface unit (B078-101-USB2 required for Fast Virtual Media speeds up to 12 Mbps). Dual 10/100 LAN ports ensure uninterrupted remote access in case one port should fail. A local user and two remote users can log on simultaneously and switch between the 16 ports using an on-screen display, hotkeys or remote toolbar. Multi-level password protection prohibits unauthorized access.The LCD supports video resolutions up to 1366 x 768. Dual serial ports allow control of serial devices, such as IP PDUs, firewalls and routers. You can assign individual ports to an IP PDU port to power on/off the server connected to that port. The heavy-duty steel housing slides neatly into the rack when not in use. Free NetCommander-AXS management software is available to access and control your Tripp Lite NetCommander IP KVM switches (B070 and B072 Series). From a single interface, you can access server ports on any of your KVM switches, power cycle or power on/off outlets of IP PDUs, and manage KVM settings. Tripp Lite's B070-016-19-IP2 NetCommander Cat5e/6 IP Console KVM Switch is the optimal solution for controlling up to 16 connected computers and servers locally or remotely from virtually anywhere in the world. The unit features a built-in 19” LCD and supports VGA video resolutions up to 1366 x 768 locally or 1920 x 1080 remotely. This KVM mounts into 1U of any standard 19” rack. Each connected computer/server can be located up to 100 ft. from the KVM switch using Cat5e/6 cabling and a B078-Series Server Interface Unit.
Support for 2+1 Users
The B070-016-19-IP2 enables control of multiple computers with simultaneous support for two remote users, plus a third local user. The three users can each access a different port on the KVM at the same time. Up to five users can share a single session.
Supports Multiple Platforms
The B070-016-19-IP2 supports PS/2 and USB connections (Tripp Lite B078-101-PS2, B078-101-USB-1 or B078-101-USB2 Server Interface Unit and Cat5e/6 patch cabling required, sold separately) and is compatible with Windows and Linux operating systems.
Access Virtual Media
With the B070-016-19-IP2, users are provided Virtual Media access, which allows an .iso file located in a shared folder of a SAMBA or NFS server to be mounted to a target server and accessed as if it were directly stored on it. The Fast Virtual Media KVM system (U.S. Patent #9,417,720) supports data transfer rates up to 12 Mbps (B078-101-USB2 required to achieve high-speed transfer).

This KVM switch incorporates the most advanced encryption technologies with three levels of password protection. The B070-016-19-IP2 supports TLS 1.2 security protocol. An SSL certificate can be installed to ensure secure transactions between web servers and browsers. Remote authentication support is achieved via full-screen graphical OSD with multi-level authentication (administrator and user) so users can quickly and efficiently manage installations. The B070-016-19-IP2 supports RADIUS and LDAP/S as well as IPv4 and IPv6 protocols.
Dual Serial Ports for Local Device Control
The B070-016-19-IP2’s dual serial ports connect serial-manageable devices such as PDUs, firewalls, and routers for comprehensive local device management.
