PDUMH20HVATNET
ATS PDU Distributes, Monitors and Manages Network-Grade Power with No Java Required
With its Java-free LX Platform network interface, 8 switched C13 outlets, 2 unswitched C19 outlets and automatic transfer switching (ATS), Tripp Lite’s PDUMH20HVATNET 20A Power Distribution Unit (PDU) provides full power monitoring locally or remotely and a redundant power option for network devices with non-redundant power supply configurations. This PDU includes a built-in WEBCARDLX to provide users the ability to control and manage high-voltage 208/240V power in an IT or industrial environment from virtually anywhere via a secure network or web browser interface.
Integrated Auto-Transfer Switching for Built-in Power Redundancy
The PDUMH20HVATNET features integrated automatic transfer switching (ATS) capability to provide a redundant power option for networking and server applications with non-redundant internal power supplies. In ATS mode, one power cord delivers primary input power and one provides secondary input power. If primary power becomes unstable or fails, the PDU automatically performs switchover in 2 to 7 milliseconds to the secondary power source, ensuring uninterrupted operation of connected equipment. The on-board ATS processor constantly evaluates power quality on both inputs to prevent transfer to the secondary source if it is unavailable or of lower quality than the primary source. Front-panel input LEDs indicate primary or secondary power availability.
Digital Current Meter and Outlet LEDs
The PDUMH20HVATNET is equipped with a digital LED meter that enables IT personnel to monitor the total load on the PDU at the rack in real time. This meter helps to assure that the PDU is used at maximum capacity with no danger of overload. Each outlet has an LED that illuminates to confirm power on/off status.
Individual Outlet Control and Sequentially Activated Outlets
The eight C13 outlets on this PDU are individually controllable so you can reboot equipment without a truck roll to the site. To prevent inrush-related equipment interaction at startup, the PDUMH20HVATNET's C13 outlets are factory-programmed for sequential activation at 250-millisecond intervals when the PDU is energized.
Advanced Network Monitoring Capabilities
A built-in Java-free, HTML5-based LX Platform network interface enables full remote access for power monitoring, configuration and control via a secure network or web browser interface. Tiered access privileges can be configured from full administrator to view-only operator. This PDU supports notification of all major power events and user-specified alarm thresholds via email or SNMP traps. Real-time clock backup maintains the time of day and date even if the PDU is shut down and unpowered. When used with optional EnviroSense2 environmental sensor modules, the PDUMH20HVATNET can also remotely monitor conditions such as temperature, humidity and contact closure.
Broad Compatibility
The PDUMH20HVATNET provides 10/100 Mbps auto-sensing for optimal communication compatibility with a current 10/100 Base-T network. Protocols supported include IPv4, IPv6, HTTP, HTTPS, PowerAlert, SMTP, SNMPv1, SNMPv2, SNMPv3, Telnet, SSH, FTP, DHCP and NTP. DHCP/Manual configuration support enables network settings to be assigned automatically or manually.
Hot-Swap Capability ATS functionality makes the PDUMH20HVATNET ideal for adding redundancy to single-corded devices. When used with a single UPS system, it provides fault-tolerant hot-swappable UPS protection for applications requiring zero downtime. When each of its power cords is connected to a separate UPS system, the PDUMH20HVATNET provides fully redundant, zero-downtime UPS protection.
