U521-1P0M-WH20G
USB4 Cable Streams Video and Processes Data at 20 Gbps, 4x Faster Than USB 3.0
This USB4 20Gbps cable (M/M) transmits across two bidirectional lanes, supporting speeds up to 20 Gbps, which is four times faster than USB 3.0/3.1/3.2. Unlike previous USB generations, the USB4 20Gbps cable has the ability to allocate resources. Instead of splitting video and data equally between its two lanes, the U521-1P0M-WH20G allows the connected display as much bandwidth as it needs, while saving all remaining bandwidth for high-speed data transfers. This makes the cable perfectly suited for 4K video streaming and editing.
Supports DisplayPort Alternate Mode for Unidirectional 20 Gbps Video Connections
By connecting a 4K display to a host device that supports DisplayPort Alt Mode 1.4, this cable can use both high-speed lanes to transmit 4K video at 60 Hz in one direction at 20 Gbps maximum speed with 24-bit True Color, HDR and 4:4:4 chroma subsampling.
Backward Compatible with Legacy USB and Thunderbolt 3 Devices
Though both connected devices must support USB4 20Gbps for the cable to reach its full potential, the U521-1P0M-WH20G is backward compatible with USB 3.x, USB 2.0 and Thunderbolt 3 devices. It connects two USB-C devices, including MacBooks, Chromebooks, Windows laptops, Kindles, game consoles, smartphones, external storage devices, docking stations and wall chargers. It is compatible with all USB-C and Thunderbolt 3 devices, enabling use in existing installations while preparing for future upgrades.
PD Charging Cable Keeps the Connected Notebook, Laptop or Other Device at Capacity
The U521-1P0M-WH20G supports Power Delivery (PD) 3.1 charging of the connected PD Charging-compliant device. It carries power output up to 48V 5A (240W), which is sufficient for fast-charging and powering your MacBook or other mobile device, including the latest iPhone and other smartphones with a USB-C connector.
USB-IF Certification Ensures Rigorous Testing and Top-of-the-Line Performance
This cable meets the high standards of USB-IF (USB Implementers Forum, Inc.), a non-profit organization consisting of companies that developed the USB specification. Receiving USB-IF certification means the U521-1P0M-WH20G meets the industry's highest environmental, mechanical and electrical standards. It operates with your USB peripherals, adapters and cables with top efficiency and safety.
