The Vertiv Avocent HMX IP KVM System (5000-6000 series) is a high performance KVM extender that provides access to system computers via a CATx network, allowing users the ability to access and share computing resources. An IP-based KVM (keyboard, video, mouse) extender, it allows critical computing hardware to be housed remotely from the user workstation in a secure, temperature-controlled environment. This KVM system provides powerful administrative tools and connection-management control for the network resources without compromising quality.
