PDUMH20AT
Optimized for Demanding Applications
The PDUMH20AT is designed for reliable distribution of AC power to supported equipment in IT, industrial and similar applications. It features a rugged all-metal case, high-quality outlets, a 20A circuit breaker and a switchless design to prevent accidental shutoff. Auto-Transfer Switching function adds hot-swap and maintenance bypass ability to standard UPS configurations.
Reliable IT Power Distribution
Unfiltered electrical pass-through makes the PDUMH20AT ideal for distributing alternate waveform UPS or generator power in rack enclosures, network closets, and more. It provides sixteen 5-15/20R outlets and dual 12-ft. cords (one attached, one detachable) with locking L5-20P plugs to prevent accidental disconnection. Two included L5-20R to 5-20P plug adapters enable the PDU to be connected to standard 5-15/20R outlets.
Integrated Auto-Transfer Switching & Hot-Swap
The PDUMH20AT features optional integrated automatic transfer switching (ATS) capability to provide a redundant power option for networking and server applications with non-redundant internal power supplies. In ATS mode, the attached power cord delivers primary input power and the included detachable power cord provides secondary input power. If primary power becomes unstable or fails, the PDU automatically switches to the secondary power source. Additionally, ATS enables fault-tolerant hot-swappable UPS protection when used with a single UPS system, and fully redundant UPS protection when each power cord is connected to a separate UPS system. Front-panel input LEDs indicate primary or secondary power availability.
Digital Current Meter
Assure proper load balance with the PDUMH20AT's easy to read, two-character digital LED meter that displays the total connected equipment load. This meter enables IT personnel to monitor the total load on the PDU in real time, allowing more equipment to be safely connected with no danger of overloading the PDU or power supply circuits. Plus, the outlets are factory programmed for sequential turn-on when the PDU is first powered on to prevent inrush-related equipment interaction on start-up and safeguard against costly overloads.
Optional Advanced Power Management
A built-in SNMPWEBCARD slot enables the PDUMH20AT to be permanently upgraded to a switched PDU with full network power monitoring and individual outlet control capability. With an SNMPWEBCARD installed, the PDUMH20AT can also be custom programmed for power-on and power-off sequences with user-specified time delays in response to loss and restoration of primary input power.
Switchless Design
The PDUMH20AT's switchless design prevents accidental shutoff and safeguards against downtime due to human error. The L5-20P plug locks into place to maintain a secure connection.
Versatile Installation Options
The PDUMH20AT is easy to integrate with a wide range of data center and network applications. It is suitable for 1U installation in standard 19-inch rack enclosures as well as wall-mount, workbench, under-counter and similar installations. Two included L5-20R to 5-20P plug adapters enable the PDU to be connected to standard 5-15/20R outlets.
